The clerk at CVS finally stopped faking trying to take goodrx, I ended up paying full price for a much needed asthma inhaler.

Like many people these days, I'm underinsured and struggling to pay for medication. My asthma medicine especially, generic Symbicort, often comes in at $200 or more even with coupons and discounts, for a one month supply.
The good Rx site said I could get this medicine for $36 at Jewel Osco. I had my doctor transfer my prescription and took the coupon over - and it was over $200. Trying my goodrx gold subscription didn't help.
GoodRx said my other medication, generic Patanase, would cost $38 at Walgreens. Again I had my doctor transfer the prescription and took the coupon there... and it came in at over $90. And again, my paid membership didn't help.
According to this article, good RX makes a profit from the pharmacies who accept their program. They made millions in 2018.

I don't appreciate them playing games with my health and wasting the time of myself, my doctors, and my pharmacists! There's a name for what they're doing. It's called Bait and Switch, and it's illegal.

Please stop showing people on commercials that they just show the coupon and the price automatically changes. Let them know that we have to rebill the prescription and it will take a few minutes. Smh

Beware, you will be charged even if they don’t prescribe any treatment and they tell you to go see your doctor.

I signed up for GoodRx on Saturday for the Gold Membership after having been informed that the RiteAide I go to no longer was participating. I did not pick up my prescriptions as the price had Quadrupled. I called a Member Representative at GoodRx and in a matter of minutes located a different pharmacy that did accept the Good Rx Card. She also was able to transfer the prescriptions over to be filled. Very efficient and very helpful. The price was 1/10th the cost! Amazing!

I am thrilled I found this!! I cut way back on Medicare plan d insurance, as a result. For me, this has been a Godsend.

Skeptical at first, we both used GoodRX at our local pharmacy for prescriptions which had markedly increased copays over 2020. Coupons were noted and used which saved us each about 50-60%. Floored!
Have just signed onto GoodRX Gold for additional savings which may/may not pass the cost/savings benefits. Time will tell, but the savings so far will easily offset the cost of the GoodRx upgrade. A no-brainer for us!!

The GoodRx representative I spoke to named Yeseniya was outstanding. Not only did she solve the issue I was calling about very quickly but she was very sweet and understanding to my frustrations and honestly went out of her way to make my day better.
With Representatives like her and the great discounts GoodRx has to offer my family and I plan on being members for a long time.
